Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Claro Agency SAS (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit, register on, or purchase from unoplugins.com (the “Site”). We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

Claro Agency SAS Rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, 75012 Paris, France VAT number: FR54898128640 Email: info@unoplugins.com

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not legally required to do so. For any privacy-related request, please contact us at the email above.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data we need to operate the Site, process your orders, license our WordPress plugins, and communicate with you.

a) Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. You may optionally add a billing address and other profile details.

b) Order and billing data

When you purchase a plugin, we collect your billing name and address, email, country, VAT number (if applicable), the products purchased, the order amount, and the date of purchase. We do not store your full payment card details — these are handled directly by our payment processors (see Section 5).

c) License activation data

When you activate one of our plugins on your WordPress site, our license server (powered by FluentCart) receives the basic information needed to validate your license: your license key, the URL of the WordPress site where the plugin is activated, the activation status, and activation/deactivation timestamps. We use this data only to enforce license terms and to deliver updates and support.

d) Newsletter and marketing emails

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and optionally your name) to send you product news, new releases, and promotional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

e) Support correspondence

When you contact us by email or via a form on the Site, we keep your message and any information you include so we can answer you and improve our service.

f) Analytics

We use Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that runs on our own server and does not set cookies or track users across sites. It collects aggregated, anonymous information such as page views, referrers, country, device type, and browser.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to create your account, process orders, deliver plugins, manage licenses, and provide support.
  • Legal obligation — to keep invoices and accounting records (French Commercial Code requires 10-year retention).
  • Consent — for sending newsletters and promotional emails. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the Site secure, prevent fraud, improve our products through aggregated analytics, and occasionally inform existing customers about updates relevant to plugins they own.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Account data: as long as your account is active. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
  • Order and invoice data: 10 years, as required by French law.
  • License activation data: for the duration of your license, plus 1 year.
  • Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
  • Support correspondence: up to 3 years after our last exchange.
  • Analytics data: aggregated and retained without expiry; raw logs are kept for up to 12 months.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers strictly necessary to operate our business:

6. Cookies

The Site does not currently use tracking or marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies are used — for example, to keep you logged in, remember your shopping cart, and secure your session. A dedicated Cookie Notice and consent banner will be published before any non-essential cookies are introduced.
